Annual Emerging Considerations in Maternal Mental Health Forum

One of the many ways that the Policy Center carries out our mission is by hosting an annual forum to bring together clinicians, researchers, policy makers, insurance companies, hospital administrators, public health, and other stakeholders to discuss and discover emerging considerations in pregnancy-related mental health care. Since our first forum held in 2012, attendance, provider diversity and geographic representation have grown tremendously.

The overarching goals for the Emerging Considerations in Maternal Mental Health Forum include are to build awareness around maternal mental health issues by introducing successful strategies and impactful programs; mobilizing stakeholders through knowledge and network development; and breaking down barriers by encouraging discussion and advocating for effective policies.
