Farm to Table Dinner

In 2017 we will not be holding our annual Farm to Table event, as 2020 Mom was selected as the beneficiary nonprofit organization of the first Music 4 Purpose charity event on March 28, 2017. Learn more and purchase tickets by visiting our M4P page.

Farm to Table Charity Dinner was a night to remember!

Over 200 people attended our Second Annual Farm to Table (“F2T”) Dinner and Auction on May 21st at the Valencia Country Club.  Guests dined on farm fresh Mexican cuisine, bid on fabulous auction baskets and heard from speakers who shared their experiences with postpartum depression and explained what 2020 Mom is doing to close gaps in maternal mental health care, quickly.

This annual event helps put a spotlight on 2020 Mom’s programs that promote the critical need for the proper screening, diagnosis and treatment of maternal mental health disorders, like postpartum depression.

Guests heard from Rachel Pitzel, co-founder of Club MomMe. Rachel suffered from postpartum anxiety and shared her blog post with us.

Molly and John Chester shared about their life at Apricot Lane Farms including the importance of soil health, gut health, and Molly’s experience with postpartum depression.

The event was sponsored by Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, Princess Cruises and Whole Foods.  Partners included Barnes and Noble, Galpin Subaru, Schlick Photography, Good Life Organics, Solita and Pinot’s Palot.

In addition to the dinner, 2020 Mom hosted several diaper drives throughout Santa Clarita Valley during May and distributed them at the Farm to Table Dinner to Single Mother’s Outreach and the L.A. Baby Buggy both who serve mothers in need.
