Annual Emerging Considerations in Maternal Mental Health Forum
SAVE THE DATE: FEBRUARY 9, 2018
One of the many ways that 2020 Mom carries out our mission is by hosting an annual forum to bring together clinicians, researchers, policy makers, insurance companies, hospital administrators, public health, and other stakeholders to discuss and discover emerging considerations in pregnancy-related mental health care. Since our first forum held in 2012, attendance, provider diversity and geographic representation have grown tremendously.
The overarching goals for the Emerging Considerations in Maternal Mental Health Forum include are to build awareness around maternal mental health issues by introducing successful strategies and impactful programs; mobilizing stakeholders through knowledge and network development; and breaking down barriers by encouraging discussion and advocating for effective policies.
Past Annual Forums
Past events have featured researchers and program leaders presenting on topics ranging from primary prevention, model hospital treatment programs, hormones, sleep protection, NICU support, alternative treatments, adverse child outcomes, support for fathers, and more. Materials and highlights from previous forums are available below.
